OUR LADY AND ST WILFRID'S RC CHURCH, VENTNOR

A number of liturgical themes are explored in the glass artworks for the new Our Lady and St Wilfrid’s RC Church, with the windows also including references to the locality of the church in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight.  Each of the windows in the nave relates to one of the Seven Sacraments, Eucharist, Marriage, Holy Orders, Baptism, Reconciliation, Confirmation and Anointing the Sick, whilst St Boniface is represented in the skylights. The central Cruciform incorporates the Holy Ghost, which symbolically appears and disappears as the light changes throughout the day. Architect: AED Practice.
