Plants and flora found within the proximity of the new mental health unit in Blackpool formed the concept for the artwork in the reception area. Service users at a number of centres across the Fylde coast contributed ideas for the artwork which is made up of 23 separate glass panels, each incorporating hand applied resin, deep sandblasting to both surfaces and acid etch.
